Annual Topless for TATAs Raises Money and Awareness

The 7^th annual Topless for TATAs wheeling event sponsored by 4Wheel Drive Hardware was a big success and generated donations that will go straight to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Held at Rausch Creek Offroad Park in Tremont, PA the weekend of August 7-9, all proceeds raised go toward research to help doctors discover a cure for breast cancer.

Topless for TATAs started in 2009 with only 65 people assembling for the first off-road wheeling event. This year’s event had over 1,000 people in attendance who enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere, great food and 4x4-related prize giveaways.

In addition to sponsoring the event, 4WD provided prizes for off-road enthusiasts. “Every year more people show their support for a great cause that 4WD is fully behind,” says Pat Sposato, 4WD Clubs/Events Coordinator. “The weather was perfect and 4WD donated an additional $1,000 to go to the BCRF.”

4WD mascot CJ the Dog made an appearance and conducted an impromptu kids raffle, giving away toys to the children in attendance. Saturday night’s raffle featured Jeep parts and accessories like Jeep hardtops, winches, wheels and lights. Event sponsors included Rugged Ridge, Poison Spyder Customs, JcrOffroad and Rock Krawler.
