Although the mount was more expensive than the jack, it was very easy to install and does not limit visibility, even for my 5' tall wife! The only negative would be that I found it difficult to add a lock - maybe it's me or maybe they could allow space for that, but other than that, I'm very happy with this product.
product is very strong and looks good with the powder coat finish, was easy to install took me 10 minuets, use of stainless steel hardware is a plus so no worry about rust....now for the things I Dont like about this product..the hardware is hex head instead of star, in my opinion star heads are more durable for torque.. the hand nut to hold the jack down is brass press fit into a plastic knob, so far so good but with repeated use I'm still skeptical... and my biggest letdown is when you mount the jack because of the location and height the washer fluid spray, sprays directly into the jack when ininstalled onto the brackets rendering the washer fluid useless... other than that its great, a little pricy for the inconveniences I think but overall I'm happy with this addition to my JK
I like the looks and accessibility of the jack using the hood mount. There are couple of short comings (listed below), but over all I am happy with the mount. -Mount was just too wide and I had to drill the holes out in order to fit the jack (smittybilt 54" trail jack) by sliding mounts in. -if jack handle is towards the windshield, window cleaner spray hits the jack, where if handle is towards front of jeep, the hood cannot go up all the way and rest on windshield (hood prop still works fine).
Good product, but not sure what lights to install. Concern about lights getting in the way of the jack.
What size light will it accept? Is this everything I need to mount a jack and lights to my 2004 tj 'S hood? Thx

Kiki, the Warrior Hi-Lift Jack Mount Light Bar requires the Hi-lift Jack Mount Brackets for installation of the light bar. The Warrior Brackets are: CJ and YJ 1541, TJ 1540, JK 1542 and Universal 1543, I hope this helps!

Will this mount kit work with the smitty built jack that you sell?

Yes you can use this mount with any jack that style.

Does this fit on the JK jack bracket? It's written on the page for Warrior JK Hi-lift bracket that it doesn't fit. But on this page it says it does fit? Can you straighten that out for me?

This will work with your JK, but you will need part number W/I1542 to mount the light bar. Thanks!
