pros an cons of synth. to steel rope
Asked by Gman from 37716 Ten. on
Gman, the Warn ZEON 10 Recovery Winch is available with both steel cable and synthetic line. The biggest gain with going from steel to rope is the weight savings and the safety aspect. Synthetic rope is much safer than cable because it will not whip around when it breaks like cable does. Also, rope is usually 10%-15% lighter than compared to the same line in the cable. Hope this helps!

Wondering if this winch will bolt right up to the bumper on 13 Jeep rubicorn as bumper is winch ready?
Asked by Frank from United States on
Frank, I am not sure how much room you have in that bumper for the ZEON 10 Recovery Winch. The measurement on the winch are 24.25" L x 7.15" D x 10.52" H. The mounting bolt patter is 10.0" x 4.5" which is pretty standard. I hope this helps.

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
