As a long-time favorite, you'll see more of these winches mounted on vehicles than any other. Quick no-load line speeds, durable and reliable 3-stage planetary geartrains, and low current draw for long duty cycles have made these durable units staples of the WARN lineup for years.

It is a very reliable tool. I recently used it to pull an oak tree up the hill at 175ft. Away and it was straining to the load it had but never gave out. Any other brand would have smoked out and died. I strongly recommend the 9000 lb. For this type of work. Be safe and carefully because this is a very powerfully tool and without proper use can cause great bodily injury or death. Rope can snap and cut a limb off like butter.
I have had a xd9000i on my tj for 20 years and now its on my new jk. Been super reliable and have used it quite hard at times without issue.
How much 3/16 wire rope can be put on the drum?
Asked by roger from United States on
Hello, 3/16 cable will not work on this winch due to the diameter of the cable. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, Thank you.

Does this winch come with a wireless remote? I want a new Warn winch with the solenoid permanently attached to the winch itself along with a wireless remote so I don't have to use the 12' wire controller.

Hello, this Warn XD9000i Self-Recovery Winch does not come with a wireless remote. The wireless remote is sold separately. #WAR76080 you can see it here: http://jo.my/warn_wireless_remote_control

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
