Will this winch fit the bumper on a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Hard Rock Edition? If not what winch will fit? Jeep.com says bumper is winch capable.

Asked by Seaapple from Torrance, CA on

Hi Seaapple, This Warn M8000 Self-Recovery Winch will fit great on the 2016 JK Hard Rock Edition, however you'll need the winch mount plate that Warn makes for it. Here it is, thanks for your inquiry. http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Winches-Jeep-Winch-Accessories/Winch-Mounting-Plate.aspx?t_c=18&t_s=126&t_pt=3440&t_pn=WAR88140

I have a 2013 Wrangler sport. Can I mount this product on my factory bumper?

Asked by Steve from Wind Gap, PA on

Hi Steve You would need a winch mounting plate to use M8000 Self-Recovery Winch or any winch. The S/B2804 or the WAR88140 plate would work with a stock bumper. Thanks

Manufacturer

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
