Warn's Center Mount ATV Plow Base/ Tube Assembly is designed for use with center mounted ATV plow mounting kits and features an extra wide design for increased stability. It's oversized bushings dramatically reduce wear and absorb the shock of plowing. Finished in durable black powdercoat. To complete your Warn ProVantage Plow System make sure to order a Warn ATV Mounting Kit, Base tube kit, Blade kit, and Plow lifting mechanism.
the installation/assembly instructions were extremely hard to follow, there was simply a diagram of screws with no instructions of where they go. the first time I pushed 4" of snow the mounting u-bolt snapped. After slight modifications (drilling larger holes and using bolts twice the thickness)I haven't had an issue. Love the provantage blade, so I guess I'm stuck.
When ordering this wasn't made clear that a mounting plate is also needed and wasn't very compatible with specific plate needed for my older model Yamaha Kodiak. Took several hours to get mounted completely and doesn't have a big enough connection hole for winch cable hook, had to use a carbiner instead and remove the hook. Also this setup is pretty low and not much clearance with blade raised all the way up.
This was the simplest to install.you would have no proble installing even without any instructions. This is my second snow plow setup and was by far the easy one. You won't be disapointed.

Which is the better option, the front mount or center mount? whats the advantages and disadvantages of each?
Asked by Alex from on
Thanks for the inquiry Alex, the Warn ProVantage Front Mounted ATV Plow Base part # WAR92100 obviously the front mount is easier to install and remove and it works great with the bucket conversion. The center is the older design that mounts to the bottom of the frame and does not have as good of clearance and cannot lift as high. Both units are solid but different is design.

In 1948, Arthur Warn founded Warn Industries to construct locking hubs for surplus World War II Jeeps. Ten years later, the Warn winch was manufactured to fill the need for a reliable recovery tool to aid off-roaders stuck in challenging situations. Since then, Warn has grown to offer a wide range of gear with the hallmarks of durability and affordability. 1988 spawned the aftermarket industry's first ATV winch and today their PowerSports line of winches ranks among the most esteemed in the industry and jeepers call on Warn for electric, hydraulic and severe duty components that get the job done.
