Pavement is optional with these versatile all-terrain Toyo Tires. They offer over 40 percent more tread life than the leading competitors, a blatantly aggressive tread design, and a quiet ride. Their aggressive tread pattern offers good traction in bad conditions, on pavement or off. The all-new Open Country A/T II also comes with an industry-leading 65,000-mile. This Xtreme size features a deeper tread depth and a more aggressive tread and shoulder design.
2/10/15 I bought a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4WD 4-door with Toyo A/T Open County Xtreme tires - size LT 285/65 R!8- Please advise recommended tire pressure. If pressure is on the sidewall, I can't read something that small. Thanks. Anne P>S. VERY nice tires !

Hello Anne, All vehicles are different. What you need to do is draw a chaulk line across your tread and move the Jeep. If it wipes the center clean it is over inflated. If it wipes the outside you are under inflated. You want the entire line wiping even. Typically it takes 28-30 PSI. Hope that helps.

The Toyo Tire company was founded in 1945 in Osaka, Japan as a manufacturer or everyday tires. In 1953 Toyo Tires built a factory in Itami, Japan. In 1966 the company established an U.S. headquarters during the U.S. auto boom. In the 2000's Toyo Tires entered the off-roading tire market with the very well received Open Country line. Open Country tires are manufactured in Toyo Tires' factory in Georgia. In 2012 Open Country was on the trucks driven by Robby Gordon who won the SSTD Grand Championship, Bj Baldwin who won the LOORS Pro 4 Championship and Kyle Leduc who wone the SCORE overall Championship.
