I have a 1990 Jeep Comanche (MJ) with a that had the Death Wobble when I'd hit bumps and railroad tracks. All I had been told when I bought the truck was that it was a Teraflex 6" lift and finding replacement parts for it was very difficult until now. The free shipping was fast enough for me and once I got the old one removed this one bolted right in it's place. The bolt that comes with it that mounts it to the axle was not correct for my application but the old bolt worked just fine. This is my first purchase here and I will definitely be shopping at 4wd.com more often! I just hope they make their website more user-friendly to us MJ guys...
With a 3" Suspension Lift riding on 18" Rims and 35" MT ATZP3's, the stock stabilizer needed to be changed. The TeraFlex Stabilizer fit perfectly with no modifications and made a noticeable difference in shimmy and shake from rough road patches.
The stabilizer shock took care of the (shake of Death) Shake.
Hi, it says it requires a TER999174 to fit a JK. What' s the TER999174? is it an accessories that I need to buy for installing this steering stabilizer? thanks

Hi Nuke, This stabilizer uses a clamp/bolt relocation kit on the Jeep JK's, here it is and thanks for your inquiry. The TER999174 is an old number. http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Lift-Kits-Jeep-Lift-Kits-Suspension/Steering-Stabilizer-Relocation-Kit.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=509&t_pt=4930&t_pn=TER1123140

It states "Hardware Not Included" So the hardware that is in the picture is what they are talking about? Also, the picture shows no dust cover, is that how it comes? Because that is good because i want to put a yellow shock boot anyway. Thanks

Hi Tony, This TeraFlex Steering Stabilizer Kit is the shock itself, the small spacer and mount stud in the photo is not included, and it does not come with a dust cover boot. Hope this helps, thank you for your question.

will this work correctly with stock tie rod and a 4 inch Lift and a jeep which is Right Hand Drive? If not do you have one for such a jeep-2003 wrangler sport? Do I have to buy extra hardware to fix it Is there a dual steering stabilizer for TJs Thanks

Randy, the TeraFlex Steering Stabilizer Kit is for a your Jeep. You can't get a dual kit for the RHD Jeeps. You can use any single stabilizer kit though since the mounting is the same just flipped. Hope this helps!
