TeraFlex is a manufacturer of premium suspension systems, body armor, low-range gearing and high-performance axles for the Jeep Wrangler. We at TeraFlex have been professionally involved with Jeeps since the 1950s, and our experience allows us the ability to make Jeeps perform their best. Since the beginning, a constant flow of new, unique and innovative products has made our line what it is today. TeraFlex was started in the fall of 1996 to meet the needs of a growing market for heavy duty off-road equipment and suspension enhancements. Since that time TeraFlex has maintained a dominant hold on the Jeep market. TeraFlex was the first aftermarket manufacturer with a suspension system for the TJ Wrangler, and is still the only aftermarket company to offer a solution for the venerable 231 transfer case's low range gearing. In 2001 the entire off-road industry was stunned at the CRD60—an off-road specific high-pinion 60 differential that took innovation to a new level, reinforcing our position in the industry. Continuing our stronghold, we offer the most comprehensive list of performance components for the JK Wrangler of any other manufacturer to date. Shipping fast and accurate! Kit well organized and easy to understand plus a good install vid on YouTube. Research methods of removing the brake bracket located on the front spring towers that works best for you and that will help a ton. Built in leveling is a plus. Install went without probs with my son. Installed back in the evening and front in morning so who knows how long it took. Had front end alignment done and all in the green. Loving life and Teraflex!
The number of choices available to lift your vehicle can be a bit overwhelming, but I found this lift to be a reasonable value, maybe a bit on the pricey side compared to a few other companies that include sway bar links and T-Case Lowering Kit. The installation was much more difficult than expected due to rusted/broken shock bolts on both front and rear. That's not TeraFlex's issue. I just wasn't prepared for the extra hours. The track bar bracket installation was not well documented in the instructions, but a call to TeraFlex customer service provided me with enough info. to complete the job. After the lift, I ended up with a slight amount of drive shaft vibration during acceleration so I'm into another project: either lower flex arms or T-Case Lowering Kit, but again that comes with the territory of any lift kit. It's early but I'm very happy with both on road and off road ride. TeraFlex instructions are lacking, but their customer service was responsive and helpful. No complaints.
Love this lift. Added it to my JK along with some 35's and everything is perfect. Great ride, just slightly stiffer than stock (in a good way), and no tire rubbing. Recommend adding the Teraflex steering stabilizer and exhaust spacer at the same time.
Other TeraFlex lift kits mention "driveshaft adjustments recommended" in the description. Does this 2.5" lift kit require driveshaft modifications or exhaust spacers?

Hi Alan, This TeraFlex 2.5 Inch Lift Kit typically does not require driveline modifications as it's only 2.5" over stock height, Y pipe spacers are not required either. Great question, thanks for your inquiry.

First time jeep buyer but in for the long haul. I purchase a 2003 jeep rubicon with what looks like a 2 inch old man lift shocks and spacers. The jeep is a Tomb Raider and it has 33X 12.50 tires, yes they rub. I am wanting to set the jeep up to flat tow behind a truck camper. It will be used for a camp vehicle but we love fire road and 4x4 trails. I don't want to be unequiped, so if I purchase this kit what else will be necessary for a good road ride and long term use of the jeep as we grow? Thanks...

Hello, The TeraFlex 3 Inch FlexArm Lift Kit with 9550 Shocks is a great start to your new Jeep. The next part I would recommend would be some flat flares to give your tires a little more room to move when on the trails. I will put a link below to the set I would recommend. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks! http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Fender-Flares-Jeep-Fender-Flare-Parts/Flat-Style-Fender-Flares.aspx?t_c=80&t_s=409&t_pt=3555&t_pn=B%2fW10920-07

I have 2004 TJ Rubicon. I have a CV rear driveshaft, and I want to purchase the 3in teraflex lift with 4 flex arms. My question is, do i need to buy upper control arms as well or can I do without upper control arms?
Asked by Cole from on
Hi Cole, This TeraFlex 3 Inch Lift Kit fits great on the '04 Rubicon, and you can use your OEM upper arms with it. The lower arms seem to take the most abuse when wheelin' so the lower arms in this kit are heavy duty, adjustable units. Thanks for a great question.
