I have an 05 TJ Rubicon Automatic. Why wouldn't this work on it? Seems like it would be handy for winching and airing up tires to keep battery charged.

i have a 1997 jeep wrangler do i need anything else to install this hand throttle such as mounting hardware or brackets also does it come with detailed instructions

I had a hand throttle on a Rockcrawler automatic and it worked fine. Why do you say this is not recommended for use on an auto? I now have a 2004 Wrangler Sport and want to avoid "pedal bobble" when in 4 low.

This can be used on an automatic, but the vendor does not recommend it as a safety precaution. With a manual transmission, you can simply push in the clutch to stop power to the wheels. In an automatic, you would need to put the vehicle in neutral or disengage the hand throttle, which may not be an immediate reaction for most drivers. Thanks!
