Does the fill hole also used as a full level indicator?
Asked by Randall from on
Randall, the TeraFlex Dana 44 Cast Iron Cover fill hole is indeed used as level indicator. Hope this helps!

I see the two fill holes for high or low pinion gears but I don't see a drain plug at the bottom. The low pinon gear hole won't serve as an effective drain hole. Are we just supposed to let it dribble out of the bottom after loosening those bolts? Thanks, - CJ

CJ, "relatively experienced" Jeeper, the TeraFlex Dana 44 Cast Iron Cover doesn't have a drain hole. So you will have to take the cover off to drain the axle just like a stock cover would. Hope this helps!

with Teraflex Dana 44 does this product come with a gasket or do I have to buy it separately?

Hello mark, The TeraFlex Dana 44 Cast Iron Cover does not include the gasket. i would recommend using a lube locker gasket. Thanks for the inquiry.
