Oversized and heavier wheel/tire combos, highspeed impacts, and low range twisting and binding take a toll on JK Wrangler/Unlimited rear axle shafts and wheel bearing assemblies even with upgraded 35-splineaxle shaft conversions.
All this stress can cause axle shafts to bend.
The twin-bearing full-float design spreads vehicle weight evenly across the forged 4140 chromoly spindles removing vehicle weight from the axle shaft. The case-hardened 4340 chromoly shafts transfer torque to the wheels without the added stress of carrying the vehicle weight.
The spindle accepts readily available industry standard bearings and seals.
All factory sensors are maintained and protected from the elements. Retains OEM park brakes, calipers and pads.
This kit is ideal for overland expedition style driving.
Note: We recommend replacing the inner seal when removing an axle shaft. As it makes sense to change both sides and both seals at the same time, the total install time will equal 4.9 hours. This install time includes both the driver and passenger side axle shafts, (2) inner seals, removal of differential, adding oil, and axle reassembly.
