The 2.5 inch lift kit is an ultra simple lift kit designed for the serious no-frills four wheeling reminiscent of the old days. Build up the legend and go for a drive! The 2.5 inches of lift is the perfect amount to allow you to run a 35 inch tire (aftermarket wheels with 4.5 backspacing or less are required), and give the maximum wheel travel and articulation. Perfect for all daily driven Wranglers. This configuration includes TeraFlex VSS 9550 shock absorbers to fine tune the suspension movements of the lifted vehicle. Pick your version, bolt it on, and get on the trail! Warning: If planning to use stock wheels, wheel spacers (Part #1055000) must be purchased with this kit.
Shipping fast and accurate! Kit well organized and easy to understand plus a good install vid on YouTube. Research methods of removing the brake bracket located on the front spring towers that works best for you and that will help a ton. Built in leveling is a plus. Install went without probs with my son. Installed back in the evening and front in morning so who knows how long it took. Had front end alignment done and all in the green. Loving life and Teraflex!
Love this lift. Added it to my JK along with some 35's and everything is perfect. Great ride, just slightly stiffer than stock (in a good way), and no tire rubbing. Recommend adding the Teraflex steering stabilizer and exhaust spacer at the same time.
Bought this lift as recommended by the staff at 4 Wheel Parts. They installed it. Disappointed in the ride. Stock was way smoother. Upgraded the shocks to Bilsteins, but didn't help. Nice lift for the money, as far as for moderate 4-wheeling. Not sure why the others state the ride is as good or better than stock. Mine rides way stiffer, on & off road.
I have a 2009 Rubicon unlimited automatic. Will there be any issues with the drive shaft boot getting ripped with this lift kit when flexing?
Asked by Mike from Mechanicsville, VA on
Hi Mike There would be no problem with the boot using the 2.5" Suspension System, the driveshaft does not flex very much as it would with a taller kit. Thanks

Dear 4WD, With this 2.5" lift kit for a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited, will I need to install exhaust spacers or a new drive shaft to adjust for the lifted angle?
Asked by Ranger1 from Big Sky Country on
Hello Ranger1, With this kit the exhaust spacer is recommended for the kit so it clears the drive shaft. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Thank you.
