Is a 9.5 inch wide tire measuered by the width of the tread or by the wall in which the rim will be around? I cant find tires in the size i want and i think it is because of this reason that i am unsure about

I see that this tire is a "D" rated tire when all other 33x12.5x15 tires have been "C" rated. Is this tire truly D rated? Will this help tire life?

ecromer, The 33x12.50R-15LT, TSL Radial Tire SSTSAM-79R is a true D rated tire and because of the harder compound, it should give you a better tread life.

The Super Swamper Tires off-road line includes the Super Swamper M16 tire, with 24 sizes, the Narrow Super Swamper, with 3 sizes, and the Super Swamper Radial which comes in 42 sizes.
