The Super Swamper IROK ND is a non-directional tread design version of the famous IROK but still has the same performance characteristics. The IROK ND uses the same famous Three Stage Lug design, scooped lugs, blade and molded siping, tighter lug pattern and sidewall traction features combined to give a smooth comfortable ride.
My dad put a set on his 91 Toyota pickup and loves them. We're about to pick up another set. They do great in mud and ride smooth down the highway. The hum isn't bad. We put 6oz of balancing beads in each tire, smooth as silk. He only got about 20k miles out of them but his truck has 5.38 gears and lunchbox lockers front and rear. And he also ran too much tire pressure for the first 10k miles or so. Can't beat them for the price!
Bought to go on sons 4x4 pickup.
nice product super fast shipping A+++++

Had read reviews of balance issues, but the shop I use said they balanced super good and are straight and true...Love the nice growl they make going down the road. Not noisy like the other brand they replaced......yet. Others had around 45000 miles on them. For the price I'll be happy if I can get half of that many on these.
I had these tires on my truck once and had a blowout on the back right tire. Im wondering if it is because of they ply or what. Any suggestions on to try these again? They were great in mud just didnt wanna trust them after blowout.

Jared R, the Super Swamper Tires 285/75R16LT, IROK ND is a load range D tire which is an 8 ply tread surface. If you overload them then it is possible you can experience a blowout. Hope this helps!

I have 2005 Chevy 2500 HD four door. Will this load range be suitable for my truck.

Goodbro, the Super Swamper Tires 285/75R16LT, IROK ND will be fine for your pick up as long as you aren't towing anything extremely large with it. For that you will want a load range E tire. Hope this helps!

What is the performance differences in regards to the tire above and a 238/85/16 with a load range of 3042 and a load range of 3305 for the 285/75/16 will the above tire not really have more load carrying with 8 ply than the 238/85/16 10ply

Hi, This Swamper Irok load range D is a soft compound and is designed more for off road use. If used on the street and on a full size pick up they'll last for 20-25 thousand miles. A load range E such as the Toyo will last longer for street use and is suitable for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Thanks for the inquiry.

The Super Swamper Tires off-road line includes the Super Swamper M16 tire, with 24 sizes, the Narrow Super Swamper, with 3 sizes, and the Super Swamper Radial which comes in 42 sizes. Super Swamper Tires are unusually round. So they work well on the trail but are still able to give a smooth ride on the pavement. The tires have six tread piles which cushion the bumps and shakes of the road. They also have low rolling resistance so they won't tax fuel economy. And up to 35 miles per hour they are not any louder than everyday tires. Super Swampers are manufactured by the Iterco Tire Corporation, known for making killer off-road tires for rock crawling (IROK), mudding (The Bogger) and tough trail running (TSL/SX).
