The XRC Bumpers have high degree approach angles and raised corners to maximize ground clearance. Manufactured from 3/16 cold rolled steel and then robotically welded to the exact specifications. Welds are ground down and smoothed out, then a two stage textured matte black powder coat is applied for the ultimate look. The front stinger is 1.75 tubing and has two light tabs that can hold up to two 9 lights. it is unique design is capable of mounting up to a 10,000 lb. winch with the option of running an aluminum or roller fairlead. Each bumper is developed to be a complete bolt on and requires no modifications to the vehicle.
Solid bumper, good fit on the 2001 TJ. Had to elongate the two holes on the bottom of the bumper for the bolts to thread in. Other than that it was an easy install
Really good bumper for the cost.
Really nice bumper but the light tabs need to be redesigned. I have an older Ramsey 8000 winch with the solenoids on top. The light tabs welded to the hoop are too big and too closely placed toward the center. They need to be smaller and placed outboard on the hoop. They interfered with the top of the winch. I had to remove half the tab with a grinder to get the winch to fit. Also, the bumper does not cover the sway bar so there's an unsightly gap between bumper and grill.
Great bumper. Went on easy, I put it on by myself. I added two ProComp lights, a XRC8 winch, and a couple D-rings and the bumper looks sharp. I wouldn't leave it blank, it looked very silly with no winch or lights.
I got this bumper about a year ago and about 6 months in I was at a red light and a old man passed out at the wheel and smacked right into my front end at atleast 35mph stopped him cold and smashed the front end of his escape to the window and the motor pushed out into the road my bumper and the rest of my tj but a popped head light from the force was without a scratch talk about a unstoppable bumper I love it to death and I just bought the back bumper incase another old man passes out hahaha and the bumper has great clerance for rocks and downed trees can't wait to get the back one on!
Solid great looking bumper!!!! I have nothing but compliments and had no issues with my XRC winch pulling on a full sized Bronco, no creaks or sounds "other than my tires dragging in the dirt a little from the pull heh!"
This is a great product for someone wanting to install a winch OR just wants a custom front bumper. I drove mine for a year before I put a winch in and it still greatly enhanced the front end. It's a solid product, took literally 15 minutes to install. Only con was I didn't prefer the two light mounts on the top since I wasn't using them, but for the price I can't complain.
I too got grief about getting the bumper especially since Hanson is here in salinas ca, but this bumper has been nothing less than awesome!!! It looks and performs great! I removed the old and mounted the new in about 40-45 min. I added the xrc8 winch with it which has also been great!! Some helpful advice, you need T-55 socket to remove the oem bumper, mount the winch first, if using matching winch hook up the negative wires before mounting. Also pick up coil spacers, your front end may sag 1" to 1.5" Enjoy!!!
I have a 2006 LJ - Unlimited Rubicon. 1) Does the Warn Zeon 8 winch work with this bumper? 2) What is the overall width and length of this bumper?
Asked by Dave from on
Hey Dave, this bumper will work with the warn Zeon winch and I do not have a exact width but it is mid fender width and is 58 inches shipping width. Thanks for your question.

I'd like to bolt a X20 12K GEN2 WINCH ON THIS PRODUCT THAT I'M ORDERING WITH BUMPER. WHAT ELSE DO I NEED. I KNOW IT'S RECOMMENDED FOR 10 K MAX. IS IT POSSIBLE WITH AN ADDITIONAL WINCH PLATE OR SHOULD I GET ANOTHER BUMPER. I'D RATHER HAVE MORE WINCH THAN I NEED.

Hi SW The 12K winch will fit on the XRC Rock Crawler Winch Bumper with no problem. Thanks

2006 TJ could we put a light bar across the top as opposed to the two 9" lights? If so, would you say a 10" could work?
Asked by Tuck from on
Hey Tuck, yes you can put a light bar across the top and yes a 10 inch will work. Thanks for your question.
