The all new JK XRC M.O.D. (Multi Optional Design) Bumper System allows you to design your bumper for any terrain. The base unit was developed around our XRC platform and comes standard with a winch cradle with capacity to support up to a 15,000lb. winch. Its also equipped with D-Ring mounts that are welded on the inside and out that provides a towable anchor when pulling your rig behind a truck or motor home. Choose between our Mid or Full Width End Plate knowing that bumper clearance wont be sacrificed when wheeling in the harshest conditions. Then decide which over rider you prefer, you can choose between our low profile bull bar or our high point stinger.
Just installed this bumper w/ bull bar and a Superwinch. Looks great. Mounting bolts were difficult to line up. Would be cool if the stainless end covers were black. Can't beat the price. I would buy it again.
The first thing to do is read instructions and follow them,I had no problem installing the bumper, the hardest thing to do is get the o.e.m bumper off,I was bout ready to get the torch and melt it off lol.matches the xrc fenders well, and I too am also waiting on bull bar. BACK ORDER!! But it's all good
Im not sure why the other two reviewers commented like they did. The Bumper is tough and looks good. It was not the easiest to install but the instructions clearly stated that the holes on the frame would need to be drilled out to fit. Once that is done the install is much easier but if you try to do it witout reading the directions then, I guess, you end up writing negative reviews. I like the bumper and the system it uses. Except for the added weight I think it is a great addition to the look and use of my jeep.
Although the mod system looks great, all the extra mods are on back order for the next few months. No end caps, also the bolts did not line up which caused me to drill bigger holes into the frame to get the bumper to line up properly. Instructions were hard to follow i.e. had me put the bumper on then try and drill holes into the frame. I had to take the bumper back off and then drill as to not damage the bumper itself. It looks great but without the endcaps and the hardware lining up, I would not recommend the bumper to anyone. Look elsewhere. If you have the tools and don't mind putting in the work, then sure, it looks great once it's on. But as of now, the extra mods are hard to get.
None of the bolts where in the right place and the holes on the frame of my jeep had to be drilled out because the bumper bolts were off.
I have a 2014 sport JKU. I'd like to know if I'll need to relocate the vaccum pump in order to install the bumper.

Hello Salsicha, No you should not have to relocate that vacuum pump.

I HAVE A 2008 JK 2-DOOR SAHARA, WILL I BE ABLE TO PUT IT ON RIGHT FROM THE BOX? OR IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I HAVE TO DO?
Asked by PAUL from MADISON,WI on
Paul, the Smittybilt XRC M.O.D. Modular Center Section with Winch Plate and D-ring Mounts is a relatively easy install. Just take the old bumper off, and put this one on! I hope this helps!
