width at windshield? does it fit the stock soft top windshield channel of a 1955 Willys?

The Bikini Top that I currently use has a problem. When it rains, water pools in the middle of the top and then spills out onto the passengers when driven. Does this top have a rigid structure? Are there products that would bridge the gap between the door tops, and the edges of the bikini top?
