Precision-crafted from top quality steel and welded for unmatched toughness, the SRC Tubular Doors offer full off road driving enjoyment. Easily installs using factory door hinges and latches.
I thought these seemed pretty cool and priced well, so I got them. First off - they are HEAVY. Secondly, I'm not sure why you have to add the hinges yourself, Jeeps have not really changed that much in the JK range, have they?? Third, the handles are not drilled properly, or the screws are stripped or something, they are quite awful and I will need to figure out what to do since I only received 3 so one of the rear doors doesn't have a knob. Fourth, the locking mechanism is pretty awful - they take some major slamming to get the latch to work and sometimes I can't open the rear ones... and not just because the knobs are terribly made and/or stripped or missing... Fifth, the strap to stop the door from swinging all the way out is not made to fit over the hook on the inside of the jeep. None fit so they were of no use. It cannot be that hard to sew the strap to accommodate another few millimeters. I did like that they have mirror relocation brackets for OEM mirrors. That was definitely a plus.
Nice fit, added mirrors on brackets provided and like 'em. Doors are heavy and feel secure with them.
I bought these doors because when I take the doors off of my Jeep I fear for my son (5 years old) who sits in the back seat. I prefer having at least something between him and the road. And what is great about these doors is that they still give you that doors off feeling. The downside is that my wife struggles to open them and my son cannot. They are very hard to open and the bolt the handle screws onto bends making it even harder to open the doors. I added a plastic spacer (washer) between the handle and the door to prevent rubbing and this makes it a little easier to open. I still love these doors but I do wish they had taken more time during the design phase to work out a few of the kinks - namely the door latch issue. But I would still recommend them to a friend.
how many do ya get all 4 or two

Gill, the Smittybilt SRC Front Tubular Doors in Textured Black are made to drop right in for you. As for the mirrors you will need ones that mount to the windshield hinge. Hope this helps!
