Jeff, the Smittybilt EVAP Canister Skid Plate is only for the 07-11 Wranglers. Here is the one that you will need: http://www.4wd.com/Armor-Protection/Evaporator-Skid-Plate.aspx?t_c=79&t_s=467&t_pt=3545&t_pn=R/EREA1017. I hope this helps!

Does Part # 76922 skid provide engine coverage as well as transmission coverage?

Hi WolfmanMSU84, This Smittybilt XRC Transmission Skid Plate does cover a small portion of the engine toward the rear, however it's primary design is for complete protection of the transmission. Thanks for your question.
