Tow hooks are a must for any Jeep when going off road. This kit includes 2 tow hooks and 4 bolts.
I'm a normal guy who owns a jeep. I don't do work on my own car, & I only off road every once in a while. I wanted to add the tow hooks to my car as I live in a climate with lots of snow, and figured I could use then to help friends and family get unstuck in the winter. The easy install is really only easy if you are a car guy with the right tools. The holes you use are where the bolts attach your bumped to the car frame. You can't get those out with a normal socket wrench & the proper head, but need an electric wrench (torque wrench, etc) to do it. The hooks come with no directions at all (though it is semi easy to figure out), and a few reviews I have read in other places say the bolts provided are not long enough & new ones needed to be bought. I don't know about the bolts, and I can't say that the hooks are bad, I can just say a normal guy with a jeep will probably need help to install them. All that said and considered, I still will install them on my Wrangler as I think they will be a great addition.
As the other reviewer mentioned, stumps and other towing uses. Very heavy duty and look right at home on my Wrangler. FYI, needs an allen wrench to install.
