When running the Hammers flat out or just letting loose with friends, and you want to keep your gear in the rig, then look to Smittybilt to provide you with a cargo restraint system. too much additional hardware needed on my 2014 Wrangler Unlimited bring the total to near $400.00
This product by SmittyBuilt (SB) is HORRIBLE for later models. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4Dr and you have to spend about another $250 to buy brackets for this thing to work. SB needs to find a way to make this fit WITHOUT spending a extra $$$$ to just get the product to work. All the brackets needed to install this cost MORE than this product! I mean seriously????
I bought this CRES locally for my 2014 JKU and also the door surrounds suggested above (with the link) and they don't fit. It even says on the surround page they won't work with this system. Is there an actual part number or other surround available that will for sure fit? I'm into this for a lot of time and $$ now and I'm frustrated.

Hi Kimberlykjer, This Smittybilt Cargo Restraint System (CRES) only works with the '07 to '09 style door surrounds for the rear doors as indicated in the description, which are available directly from Jeep. Thank you for your inquiry.

I have a 2013 unlimited with factory hardtop, no soft top. What other parts do I need to buy to install your cargo restraint system? If so what do I need and where do I buy those parts? I have a Spider Web Shade SW1-JK4D on jeep now. Can I install the cargo restraint system with the Spider Web on the jeep?

Ed, The Smittybilt Cargo Restraint System (CRES) will require door surrounds and a tailgate bar. I will put links to those parts below. Unfortunately the CRES is not designed to work with extended bikini tops. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Nancy, depending on what top is on the Jeep you might need door surrounds and a tailgate bar if you have a hard top to run the Smittybilt Cargo Restraint System (CRES) Hope this helps!
