When running the Hammers flat out or just letting loose with friends, and you want to keep your gear in the rig, then look to Smittybilt to provide you with a cargo restraint system. This newly designed CRES is manufactured out of Military Grade PVC Material takes durable to the extreme and is 10 times stronger than traditional soft top material. Each CRES Net is designed to mount into the factory belt rail channel and strap around the roll bar for a perfect fit. With a rear zippered curtain, you're not limited to the size cargo you can carry. This system is available in Matte Black Finish and is custom fit for Jeep Wrangler.
Shipping was fast - packaged great. When I installed it on my 1995 Jeep YJ with Family style roll bar it does not seem to fit right. The piece that goes into the channel on the body fits awkward and does not wrap around the back correctly. The top of the roll bar does not flow with the cargo net. The back flap that unzips does not slide into the channel on the back of the jeep. this flaps around in the wind. Overall - I think the fit is off somehow, maybe a defect. I would of thought it would fit perfect or almost perfect.
My wife ordered this for me for x-mas...I have a 2008 JK 2 door. Will it fit?

Hi Ottie No the Cargo Restraint System (CRES) will not fit your Jeep. This one is showing 1992-1995 YJ. You would need the S/B571035 Thanks

Will this fit a stock 92 yj without any modifications?
Asked by Jim from Pittsburg, KS on
Jim, the Smittybilt Cargo Restraint System (CRES) will fit your YJ as long as you have the belt rail system on the tub for it to attach to. Let us know if you have any other questions!

is there a CRES for 1989 YJ?
Asked by Micki from on
Micki, because of the style of the stock roll bar in the 89 YJ this CRES nets will not work. I don't even have one to offer you. If you were to swap it to a family style roll bar you would be good to go.
