Smittybilt presents the latest styles of high quality Smittybilt Billet Grilles, designed with the highest quality materials to provide that custom look. Each Grille is manufactured to exacting specifications, and both the special bolt-over or traditional cutout designs take just minutes to install. Smittybilt Billet Grilles use 20-50% more aluminum than other billet grille designs for tighter spacing and a distinct style. Grilles are custom-designed for each vehicle -- you wont get some generic universal fit design.Four extrusion sizes are used, with larger extrusions on larger vehicles. Angles of extrusion vary from 30-60 degrees, providing a truly unique look.Durable billet aluminum is welded robotically, then powdercoated for long life and a great look.
The bolts don't fit through the slots and there needs to be different size brackets for the bottom than the top since the holes are not the same distance from the edge. Without modifying the parts myself, it would have been impossible to install. IF Smittybilt makes those adjustments, I could see this being a quality product, but I wouldn't buy it until they do.
when they say easy to install watch out not always so you have to remove the whole front grill and install from the back lots of fun
A little tricky to install, not too hard though. The screws heads started to show rust after just a few days so I dabbed them with some black nail polish $7. Look good now. Too bad they only come in polished aluminum.
Instrunctions say easy install and it maybe after you take the grill off like they say to do. I did it by assemblying it and using needle knose pliers to fit them without removeing the entire grill. Looks really good
while everyone is going black with inserts, i wanted something different for the arctic. installed this morning. a few tweaks. looks outstanding.
Is there any removing of parts required to install ? Is it a snap in insert ?

No parts need to be removed for this to fit on your vehicle. For installation you need to loosely attach the Billet Grille by holding the Metal Brackets behind factory grille shell and inserting the Phillips Screws (from the front) through the Billet Grille holes and Metal Brackets, secure them with Flange Nuts provided. This is a very easy installation. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
