Billet inserts are machined from billet aluminum and polished to a high luster. Chrome inserts add great styling and appearance. Durable and corrosion resistant, easy to install and no drilling required.
The bolts don't fit through the slots and there needs to be different size brackets for the bottom than the top since the holes are not the same distance from the edge. Without modifying the parts myself, it would have been impossible to install. IF Smittybilt makes those adjustments, I could see this being a quality product, but I wouldn't buy it until they do.
Instrunctions say easy install and it maybe after you take the grill off like they say to do. I did it by assemblying it and using needle knose pliers to fit them without removeing the entire grill. Looks really good
Is there any removing of parts required to install ? Is it a snap in insert ?

No parts need to be removed for this to fit on your vehicle. For installation you need to loosely attach the Billet Grille by holding the Metal Brackets behind factory grille shell and inserting the Phillips Screws (from the front) through the Billet Grille holes and Metal Brackets, secure them with Flange Nuts provided. This is a very easy installation. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks.
