Skyjacker Steering stabilizers are engineered to restrain bump steering and front-end vibration. Kit comes complete with all necessary brackets, hardware and polyurethane boot to protect against on-road and off-road elements.
Work very well, and as advertised. Good, solid feel to steering, but not stiff.
After installing a 3" lift, the steering wobbled violently on rough roads. Replacing the stock steering stabilizer corrected it. I read bad reviews of this product about steering issues and found none.
My wife is a new jeep driver, not having spent much time behind the wheel of a 4X4 with big tires, watching her drive was like watching a boxer on a speed bag. First I replaced the original Steering Stabilizer and it worked but it just was not enough. Then I got Skyjackers dual steering stabilizer kit, this is night and day difference. Make sure your alignment is good and all Steering components are in good working order and all tires are correctly balanced.
Instructions need to be more detailed.
Easy to install. Works great. No problems.
Easy to install, but didnt improve handling at all. The old dual stabilizer made it handle better than new one.
Quality product. My only problem with this item was the hardware that came with it. all the brackets are anodized to prevent rusting but the ubolts and nuts are standard stainless which in no time will rust. before installing I suggest going to the hardware store and upgrading the mounting hardware which should only cost you 5 dollars but will never rust...
My Rubicon had gotten to where it would start to shimmy after hitting a bump at speeds of 55 and above. Found the stock stabilizer leaking oil. Figured if 1 shock was good, 2 would be great. Bought the kit, installed it, rides great, steering is responsive, and No More Shimmy...
I have the Teraflex steering system and thought this might work, but the brackets are not made to handle a larger diameter tie rod. There are clearance issues with the stabilizer that mount in the factory mount at the axle. This stabilizer kit probable work fine for an unmodified steering system with oversized tires.
Simple Install
According to the website it says it will fit my 1974 cj5, but in the description is does not include my year, just wondering if it fits?

Will this dual kit fit a 2007 jeep with stock suspension?

Charlie, the Skyjacker Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit is meant for lifted applications, but you can run the Skyjacker single stabilizer with your set up. Thanks for the question!
