Will this fit a Jeep with 4 inch lift?
Asked by tim from walton wv on
Tim, the Skyjacker 4 Nitro Shocks with 4 Red Shock Boots is a generic part number. When you order this, a service rep will contact you to confirm fitment before your order ships. If you modified your vehicle, we'll ensure you receive the correct shock application.

how do i get the rear mounting bracket inside the rear shock grommet? is there an ez way or a specific order which i should b attempting to get it? i tried plenty of grease, then put the grommet inside the shock and tried to hammer the pitchfork shaped mounting bracket into it to no avail, then attempted to get grommet with bracket inside of it to go in top of shock to no avail. thanx

Lucky 13 all I can tell you is how I do it. You will need a big C-Clamp or a vise. Put the Polyurethane bushing in the shock. Put the bar pin (pitchfork shaped mounting bracket) at hole in the bushing. Put the C-clamp over one side of the bushing and the other end over the bar pin. Slowly tighten the clamp. That should let you push in the bar pin with out pushing the bushing out the other side. Hope this helps
