Skyjacker has the performance shocks you need for your on or off-road vehicle. The performance components of these shocks respond to the on-and off-road conditions instantly. Whether you are going over rough or smooth terrain, the true velocity sensitive valving produces better handling, improved stability, and maximum comfort
Fit perfectly. Easy installation. Immediately improved ride quality. Perfect for 2007 Dodge Nitro with 2" Daystar Lift installed.
Put these on my lifted Jeep when I put the lift on 10 years ago. Just put on another set after about 80,000 miles on the first set. For me they work really well off-road and are passable on the blacktop. And, they last well for what they are.
Once you get the bushings in and the boots on, you can install these in minutes. The hardest part is getting your old rusty and crusty worn shocks off the truck first! First time I drove it with these new Skyjacker shocks, I could really feel the difference. Stable and fluid through the uneven backroads.
When I opened the box, I was surprised, they look really good quality, and so far they are. For what I have paid these shocks are a bargain. I will not hesitate to buy this brand again when needed.
installed on my 2001 tj wrangler with 2 inch lift and they feel and look great.
Installed on my jeep YJ. Paired with tuff country 2" lift ez ride leaf springs and the ride is amazing. Much softer than the worn out stock leaf springs and shocks. Does great as a daily driver.
Made in Mexico - restraining wire placed in wrong place - it was through the end ring where the bushing and rod go. Had to remove wire which allowed shock to expand making it difficult to install. A quality control issue.
Works with my jeep instead of against it
Great value. Installed well. Performed as expected. Improvement over the worn out original lift shocks (also from superlift) slightly stiffer ride but that is to be expected with these type of shocks. Excellent product again for the money!
Front shocks had two mount kits for bottom of shock and none for the top of shock.
can put skyjacker 7000 on my 1988 jeep Comanche pioneer with out a life kit

Hi Wally Yes the Softride Hydro Shock H7016 will work on the front. You would need H7023 for the rear. Thanks

I'm here trying to gather information being that I am new to Jeeps. Is this product just for offroad use? I have a 99wj Grand Cherokee Laredo V6

Hey ViperousWaif, the Skyjacker Softride Hydro Shock Absorber will be more of a on road shock but can be used offroad also. Thanks for your question.

I plan on lifting my '04 WJ about 3". Will these fit? If not, what length shock should I look for?
Asked by Corey from on
Corey, the Skyjacker Softride Hydro Shock Absorber is for the front of a WJ with a 3" lift. The rear part number you would be looking at is H7023. I hope this helps!
