Kit includes front and rear coil springs, front & rear lower links, rear track bar bracket, drop pitman arm, front and rear bump stop spacers, transfer case lowering kit, front and rear extended end links and front and rear Hydro 7000 shocks.
Take out the directions, get matches, use them for kindling... Watch you tube videos and use common sense. The kit is complete and easy to install. I added 33x12.50 tires and ended with 5.5 inches of lift. Handles well for what it is... A jeep not a sports car.
Overall, this is a really nice lift. Not overly hard to install. The directions are lacking!!!! The 4 wheel drive shifter relocation bracket is very hard to install, but once it was in i had no issues with it shifting. My Jeep is a manual trans. I belive they should include something to relocate the shifter or at least some modification tips. other than cutting the floor pan. Spring compressor was needed for the front springs. Ride got alot stiffer. This is not all because of the lift. I put new tires on as well. Over all I am very happy with the lift. It really will take your stock TJ from grampa's old jeep to one that turns heads when you go down the street. Thank you Skyjacker and 4WD!!!!!
The short and sweet.. great lift for the money, Very complete lift. there are cheaper lifts out there, (rough country) but they are very shabby lifts. The instuctions on this lift are very lacking in info. The only extra tool i needed was a spring compressor for the front springs. The 4 wheel drive shifter relocation bracket was a pain to put in but once it was in i didnt even have to adjust my linkage. I installed this lift in my home garage with basic tools, jacks and jack stands. my jeep went from grampa's old jeep to turning heads as i drive down the road. took about 8 hours to do. Thanks Skyjacker. Thanks 4WD!!!
so i went out to skyjacker and it made mention of a few things such as power steering vs manual steering and more important to me 6 speed. I have a 2006 tj 6 speed manual 6 cly power steering . is there something else I need to purchase because of the 6 speed?

Hi mayb The drop pitman arm would be the difference there and most all TJ jeeps were power steering. The 4 Inch Sport Lift Kit with Hydro Shocks kit shows transfer case lowering kit. If you were to still get any vibration out of the rear drive shaft you would need to go with a slip yoke eliminator kit and a CV drive shaft. Thanks

Mouse, I have attached a copy of the warranty for the Skyjacker 4 Inch Sport Lift Kit with Hydro Shocks directly from Skyjacker. SKYJACKER® warrants to the original retail purchaser that its suspension products, shocks, and steering stabilizers are free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as that purchaser owns the vehicle on which such products were originally installed. Products installed on a vehicle used in any form of competition or racing are not covered by this warranty, and the warranty shall extend only 1 year on commercial vehicles. Warranty on tie rod ends, u-joints, drag links, and such shall not exceed 1 year. Skyjacker’s rebuildable rod ends and coil-over shocks, both being made serviceable in design, are not replaced under this warranty, but rebuild kits are offered for a period of 1 year and can be purchased after 1 year. This limited lifetime warranty does not apply to products characterized by one or more of the following: 1) Products that have been subject to abuse, neglect, accident, fire, improper installation or adjustment, and corrosion. 2) Products that have been modified or altered outside of or beyond SKYJACKER® specifications. 3) Products used in application other than those recommended in the current SKYJACKER® catalog or in the instructions accompanying the product. 4) Products that are used for competition or racing activities. 5) This limited lifetime warranty does not include polyurethane components, product finish, and any conditions caused by normal wear and use.
