I have a 1978 CJ 5 and wondering How do you tell if you have narrow track axles????

Hi Hrd If you measure from the outer edge of the rear spring to the brake backing plate and it is about 2 1/2 inches or so that is a narrow track if it is about 5 inches or so that is the wide track. Thanks

can i use the original drag-link with this tierod end? (modifying the tie rod) . the distance from the connection at the knucle and the the draglink connection is the same of the original tierod with the tierod end welded? thanks

Danilo Valdambrini, the Rugged Ridge Tie Rod End is made to be used with the Rugged Ridge tie rod and drag link. You will need a factory tie rod end for the factory tie rod. Hope this helps!
