These Tie Rod Assemblies provide virtually 1-ton strength with factory tapered ends, so no modification is required. The tube is 1.25 inch OD SAE steel with .25 inch wall thickness. This is the perfect solution for preventing bent tie rod tubes from off roading with larger tires. Complete kits with dust shields, castle nuts, cotter pins, jamb nuts and zerk fittings.

Can I use my steering damper with this product.

John, you can use any steering stabilizer that mounts to the stock location with the Rugged Ridge Heavy-Duty Tie Rod/Drag Link Kit. I hope this helps!

On the right side of the tie rod where the diagonal rod attaches there is an offset in the end. Does the offset go toward the front or back of the jeep?

J.R., The tie rod should only install one way which would be with the offset out towards the front of the Jeep. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
