Sully, Unfortunately the Rugged Ridge Side Step is only designed to work on CJs through 1971. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Jim, the Rugged Ridge Side Step is made to fit an early CJ. With some drilling and modifications I'm sure you can make this fit however. Let us know if you have any other questions!

how much drip is there

This Rugged Ridge Side Step is not designed to drop below the Jeep. While the exact amount of drop is completely dependent on the way you mount the step, the standard mounting location will keep the step close to the bottom of your Jeep's body. Thanks!
