Attaching the same way as our durable Summer Briefs, these full length tops provide protection from the elements for both the front and rear passengers. All 97-06 models are designed to be used with a no drill Windshield Header (sold separately) for quick conversion from hardtop to Summer Brief. An optional Windshield Channel/Header is required for installation.

will this work for my 88 yj -- it has the 45 degree angle roll bars in the back...i don't mind the lack of height back there, i sit in the driver's seat...lol but need the additional protection for small kids and gear.

Hello Dave, Yes this Top will work on your 88 YJ Wrangler. Since you have the slanted bars in back it will just cut down on head room for the back seat passengers if a full grown adult is sitting there. Small kids it will be fine.
