Uncle Scooter, the Rugged Ridge Pocket Island Top can be used with or without the door surrounds. Per the vendor's instructions: "If top is used without plastic door brackets than Velcro straps are to be looped around side roll bars and secured" I hope this helps!

Does this top attach to center roll bar; 2005 Wrangler X? Is this one piece or Two. Can't tell much about picture on Website?
