If your state requires a front license plate, we have a solution for you. Instead of drilling holes in your bumper or risking not running a front plate, this easy to install license plate holder attaches to your winch fairlead. Simply bolt your license plate to the bracket and snap the holder in place. Your license plate is now securely mounted yet easily removable for winching.
Well built, nice design. However, this part does not work with the Warn hawse - the plastic clips are too short to grab the back of the hawse. I had to return it and bought the Warrior Products bracket instead (which works great. But for other hawse's I would probably recommend it.
The plastic grips are not long enough to work with the thickness of the Warn winch hawse (or at least the Zeon model). Otherwise, the bracket was well constructed and appears to be a very good design.
Needs a teather to make sure you don't loose it while off-road. Mounts are good for everyday use, but if you plan on hitting the trail, take it off.
I read that this Hawse Fairlead License Plate Holder isn't compatible with Warn Winch Hawse Fairlead. So my question is will this Rugged Ridge Hawse Fairlead License Plate Holder work with the Smittybuilt Winch Hawse Fairlead? Thank you!

The Smitybilt hawse fairlead is about 11/16 inches in thickness. Will this item work with that fairlead?
