A hood lock is the best way to stop thieves and vandals from getting under your hood. The lock is almost completely hidden inside your Grille and requires no drilling to install. If you've spent time and money building your engine, then guard it with a hood lock. Note: Hood lock will not work with stainless steel bug shield.
Good product to security hood on my jk
This is the second one of these Ive used. My dad and I had a 92 wrangler sahara and we used the hood lock on it. As sweet and sexy as the hood catches are it makes it to easy to get inside the engine bay. These hood locks take care of that problem, just be prepared to blow peoples mind at oil change places, unless you hand them the key they wont know how to open the hood.
No mounting instructions and needs modifcation to fit a 72 cj-5
