Stock Jeeps have a slip yoke style output shaft at the rear driveline. This design is not conducive to off road use nor the steeper operating angles caused by suspension lifts. To ensure smooth and durable driveline operation, convert to a fixed yoke output and install a CV drive shaft (style RE1898). A must on all lifts over 3.5". This kit requires the modification of your stock output shaft. Drill and tap included for easy installation. Drive flange is machined from solid Stainless Steel for extreme strength and corrosion resistance.
I have 1994 jeep cherokee with the np242 transfer case. I am buying this slip yoke eliminator kit. I am putting in a 4.5" rough country lift. I was wondering what else i need besides the new rear driveshaft. And was wondering if you carry a new rear driveshaft designed for this product. What else do i need to buy besides this product to make it work?

Hey 94jeep, all you will need is this sye and the driveshaft. We would need to know measurements of how long you need once you have this sye installed on your Jeep. With this sye you can only run the rubicon express driveshafts. Thanks for your question.
