what else is recommended to do when installing the long arm kit???

Asked by FRODO from MESA, AZ. on

Hey Frodo, this kit is not a long arm kit if you want the long arm kit the part number is R/ERE7363M and with the long arm kit you would need a R/ERE4532 if your Jeep is 2012 or newer. Thanks for your question.

Answered by Devin B. ext 4835 from MESA, AZ. on

What are the pros and cons of the longarm kit versus the short arm kit? I have a 2012 2DR Rubicon. It is a daily driver on the highway but I also go through the Rubicon trail once a year as well as medium rock-crawling in Nevada. I'm thinking about running 17" wheels with 4.5" Backspace and 35"(maybe 37") tires.I'm on the fence as to whether I really need to go with longarm kit or not. Please advise.

Asked by JK Matt from Killeen, TX on

Hello, When it comes to lifts the long arm kits have without a doubt the best ride. Its a smoother ride with way more articulation. However the short arm kits are a great ride quality and perform well on and off road. Hands down the best ride will come from the long arm kit. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Thank you.
