I ordered this system a couple of days ago. I'm installing it on a 98 with 4.0 and manual 5 speed transmission. This will be my daily driver so I also ordered Bilstein 5100 shocks as well. My biggest concern is having everything I "need" before I tear it down. I do plan to build on this system over time, not the height but the control arms and products as in the super flex system. I have three questions concerning this lift kit: 1.) Will I need the slip yoke eliminator or is it just a recommended or perfered product for harder wheeling? With auto tranny? Or with more height? 2.)What about a front track bar? Also necessary, prefered or recommended? 3.) Lower control arms front and rear? If I order them next, not having installed the SYE, would this require the SYE at that time? I am on a budget but I don't want to go cheap and nickel and dime later or regret lifting my jeep. I just don't want to be disappointed in my decision.

Surveyr, It sound like you are headed in the right direction with the Rubicon Express 3.5" Standard Suspension System and the Bilstein shocks. Every Jeep is a little bit different. Some TJ's you can put on a 3.5" lift and a T-case drop and not have any vibration issues and others at 3.5" you will definitely need an SYE and drive shaft. They only way to find out for sure is to install the lift. My thought would be to order the Sye and driveshaft before you install the lift. If you get the lift on and drive it around and don't plan on wheeling it and don't get any vibration issues then just return the Sye and drive shaft. But if you do get vibrations you will be ready to knock that out in the same weekend vs. waiting to get the order shipped to you a few days later and not being able to use your Jeep. The control arms you can add later and cash and time permit. You can also add adjustable front and rear track bars at a later date if you want. In short I would do the lift and SYE/Driveshaft first.

Hello, I was wondering if you could recommend a good set of shocks to use with this kit on my TJ? hoping to run 33's. I don't do a lot of wheeling (yet) and it's my dd, so it's gotta ride "ok". Thanks!
