I bought this bumper for my 2004 WJ and for the most part I've been really impressed. First off the build quality is amazing. I got mine with the tire carrier and that's also great quality. Everything is heavy duty and the fit is great. When looking at it on the jeep it flows right and doesn't have any odd angles or look out of place. It opens and closes smoothly after being properly adjusted. I also liked how it comes with a CB antenna mount and a mount for a high lift. There were only two things that are lacking on this bumper. First, the instructions weren't the best. No list of parts or pictures of them. Looking back on it after I completed the install I understand why they wrote it the way they did, but it was confusing at times for someone who had never worked with this bumper. Second, the frame rails were off square which caused a big problem for my install. My jeep is low miles with no rust so everything came apart fine, but to properly install it I had to bolt one frame rail while the bumper was off angle, then use a manual winch from the bumper to the front of the jeep to bend and pull it into place. After that it was a breeze! My suggestion; but this bumper. It's a great bumper at a great price! If you're installing it give yourself a full 8 hours even if you know what you're doing. Otherwise, pay a shop to install it.
