These are the original, most proven, and only patented Rear Overhead Angle Bars available for your Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ with sound pods. These give you added protection and strength behind your factory cage hoop. These install in minute using our patented locking collars and give you a factory look. Our proprietary locking collars are arguably the safest and most secure way to not only strengthen your Jeep's cabin but also provide you and your passengers the peace and mind that comes with a premium cage system. No other bolt-in cage comes close to the fitment, quality, and durability of our system.
Simple to install and keeps out of the way of rear passengers, so now I can install a harness without blocking access to the back seat. If you need to be able to get to the back seat this works great, just paint, fit and bolt in. I did have to trim the edge of the speaker pod a little, about an inch, to get it sit properly though.
Through on a coat of paint, line it up and bolt it on, can't get much easier. I also cut the factory roll bar foam and slots in the covers to be able to re-use the stock pads. Not a replacement for a weld in cage, but probably one of the most solid bolt in options available.
I have a 1982 CJ and alrady had the front Rock Hard kit. This kit is easy to install and has all the hard ware. The shipping was extremly stlow. It took them a month to get it to me here in Utah. Overall its a great product!
thanks for your fast response, can you give me the dimension of the box as it is shipped? I might have my brother bring it on the airplane when he visits. Thanks Tom

do you have the height/width specs for this rollbar? My cj5 has a factory hardtop, and I want to make sure the rollbar isn't too high. Thanks!

We have a 1975 Jeep CJ5 that we are installing a bench seat in the back of. We are trying to figure out how to get shoulder seat belts into the back seat. Can shoulder belts be attached to these rear side bars and rear bar or will they be sitting too far forward and are the bars sturdy enough?
Asked by Katie from Aspen, CO on
Katie, the Rock Hard 4x4 Parts Rear Side Bars and Rear Bar cannot support a shoulder belt. The only way to do that would be to put a full cage in it. Hope this helps!
