Polyurethane track arm bushings are engineered to prevent the entire front or rear end from switching left to right unannounced, greatly improving steering feel and response.
I started to develop the dreaded death wobble on my 05 TJ Sport. Seen play in the stock rubber bushing in the track bar. It was harder to get the old rubber bushing out than it was to install the new bushing. The bushing comes in two pieces. The front bushing fit much tighter than the back. I used a Die grinder to put a small chamfer on the leading edge. I put a little Anti-seize and a long bolt and two large washers to squeeze it in the track bar. Worked great!! No issues so far.

What is the inner diameter of the sleeve in lower track bar bushing? What size bolt will fit with little play?

Hello Natedogg, The sleeve in the Prothane Motion Control Track Arm Bushing Kit is an 3/4 x 1.595. You should be able to use a 3/4 in bolt.
