Constructed with 1/4 inch plate steel, these bumpers are designed for high departure and approach angles. The 1/4 inch plate steel helps slide your Jeep over boulders, rocks and stumps. Gloss black powder coat finish.
This bumper looks great, built strong, and fits the vehicle well. The 4 bolts and two reinforcing plates that go to the inside frame of the Jeep are a BEAR to access. Small hands would be a plus here.
Replaced bent hoops on a YJ. You'll need a spare tire mount extension for 31" tire (31" spare hangs 1/2" below top of bumper). Also a combination of different sized swivel socket & box wrenches to reach frame bolts. Receiver is definitely light duty as advertised. Still a fair price.
mounts very close to tub. I used stock bolts on lower mounts Looks great on my 2006 Golden eagle. As far as install went I did it in 30 mins. I used my 1 ton jack to get the bumper in place.
Luv this bumper
Great for the price. good quality, and was pretty simple to install. you will have to drill 4 holes if you have an 06 Unlimited.
The bumper 2" receiver flex to much with a bike rack in it, Didn't fill safe.
For the price, this bumper cannot be beat! A little tough to install by yourself. 10 bolts hold it in place. I would have no fear pulling on it hard or towing with the reciever
Does this come with mounting hardware?

I have a '98 Wrangler. Does your rear bumper fit and does the fact that your receiver is "not rated for towing" mean it should not be used for towing?
Asked by No Nick from on
Hey No Nick, the Pro Comp Suspension Jeep Crawler Rear Bumper with D-rings and Reciever in Black Powder Coat should not be used to tow with. If you want one for towing you can use part number S/B76651D and S/B3721. Thanks for your question.

What is the overall width of this bumper? I have 1972 Jeep Commando and I'm wanting to custom fit this bumper if it's wide enough for my Jeep. Please email me at [email protected]
