Constructed with 1/4 inch plate steel, these bumpers are designed for high departure and approach angles. The 1/4 inch plate steel helps slide your Jeep over boulders, rocks and stumps. Gloss black powder coat finish. Drilling Required on 1997-00 TJ Wrangler.
Replaced bent hoops on a YJ. You'll need a spare tire mount extension for 31" tire (31" spare hangs 1/2" below top of bumper). Also a combination of different sized swivel socket & box wrenches to reach frame bolts. Receiver is definitely light duty as advertised. Still a fair price.
does this have tabs wielded on for the d rings?

This version of the bumper does not have provisions for D-rings. Please see the following URL for the bumper with D-rings. Thanks! http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Bumpers-Jeep-Tire-Carriers/Jeep-Crawler-Rear-Bumper.aspx?t_c=64&t_s=26&t_pt=3486&t_pn=EXP66168
