Constructed with plate steel, these bumpers are designed for high departure and approach angles. The plate steel helps slide your Jeep over boulders, rocks and stumps. Gloss black powder coat finish.
I think this bumper is nice except for one tiny problem. On a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, the top lip does not reach back as far as the stock bumper, thus leaving an inch+ gap between the frame cover and bumper. It seems that with a little less angle on the bottom of the bumper or an extension of the top plate of the bumper, both torx bolts could be utilized to mount the bumper (this would also eliminate the gape between the bumper and stock frame cover). Other than my minor dislike, I really like this bumper b/c it is simple, low-profile, and can be customized anyway you want it.
The front bumper is 46 inches? And the rear is 54? just clarifying from a previous question.

Does this Bumper come with bolt holes for Ohio Front License plates? Would I need a mounting Bracket?
Asked by Robert from United States on
Robert, the Pro Comp Suspension Jeep Crawler Front Bumper with D-Rings in Black Powder Coat doesn't have any holes drilled for a front plate. You will either have to drill some holes or make a bracket to mount your plate. Hope this helps!
