Great replacement for my 1998 Cherokee. Better ride and stability.
I bought these with a 2" budget boost and noticed that my Jeep rode a lot rougher than before. I had also purchased 35" tires, so I thought the rough ride might be the tires. About 2 years later, I bought a 4" lift and bought another set of these shocks and it's still extremely rough. I'm talking lowered sports car rough. Every bump seems like the Grand Canyon. Off road, I don't really notice the stiffness. So take caution when buying these shocks. They're inexpensive, and you can tell it in the ride.
Very happy with the procomp3000. I replaced all 6 shock absorbers (dual fronts) because the monroe senseatracks were garbage. Its like a whole different truck now. Road and off road handling is greatly improved. Love them.
2007 classic Silverado reg cab, I have 20in wheels and plan on getting a leveling kit as well. My truck rides real rough with stock shocks. Will this help with ride quality?

Hello Dan, We highly recommend the Bilstein 5100 Series Shock Package Part Number S/DShockingBIL5100w/FRTStrut. Not only is the ride quality awesome, but this will also let you level the vehicles ride height all in one. Thank you for the question.

I recently bought a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab Z71 5.3L V8 and it needs new shocks. However, I bought the truck used and I don't really know if it has a lift kit on it or not. It is currently sitting on 33 Mud Claw tires and I do know that there is a 3 in. block in the rear under the frame. The current shocks that need to be replaced are Skyjacker brand.

Hello Brett, I highly recommend driving the truck into your local 4 Wheel Parts store and have one of our salesman take a look at it before purchasing new shocks. This way you get the correct parts the first time around. Thank you.

I have a 1988 4runner, is there any modification and/or hardware i will need to complete the install of these? Would it be better to purchase the ES9000s?
Asked by Mitz from Cincy, OH on
Hello Mitz, Id recommend the ES9000 shock package Part Number: S/DShockingES9000 over the ES3000 series for your vehicle application.
