Constructed with 1/4 inch plate steel, these bumpers are designed for high departure and approach angles. The 1/4 inch plate steel helps slide your Jeep over boulders, rocks and stumps.
Bought to replace a bent bumper. Easy to install, looks good, seems durable.
This bumper will rust out over time (couple of years). I am going to need to refinish it, since the warranty does not cover rust. It would be a great bumper with a better finish.
painted ready to install, from the box to the jeep 10 minutes.
Item description states "Drilling required on 1997 to 2000 TJ" What kind of drilling & where? What needs to be drilled, the TJ or bumper?
Asked by Cha from on
Hi Cha, This Pro Comp Suspension Jeep Crawler Front Bumper in Black powder Coat is generally a no drill install, however on some of the Jeep TJ's from '97 to '00 models the holes in the bottom of the frame may not already be there. You won't need to make any holes in this new bumper, only in the Jeep itself if they are not there. Great question, thanks for your inquiry.
