Will this product fill pitting on a frame and does it smooth out after brushing on

Hello Raybo, The POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating in Gloss Black will fill in pitting somewhat. However you would need to use a filler to get it completely smooth. You can still see larger pits through it. Thanks for the inquiry.

I am interested in using this product on a 1946 Ford coupe chassis that I am building into a hot rod/street rod. Is this product spray on, or brush on? Any idea how much paint I will need to cover the chassis? The chassis, in regard to modifications, is close to original.

Hello Mike, This product is a brush on application. I think two gallons should cover the coupe.
