The Poison Spyder JK Tire Carrier Delete Plate perfectly fits over the raised vent area in the center of the tailgate to complete the Poison Spyder gear surrounding your Jeep JK. These are especially useful for those who have deleted or relocated the spare tire, covering the unsightly vent flaps with a great looking Poison Spyder piece. The JK Tire Carrier Delete Plate includes holes and rivets for mounting the license plate, for those who have installed Poison Spyder Crusher Corners and need to relocate the license plate. The JK Tire Carrier Delete Plate is CNC-laser cut from lightweight aluminum sheet and is not intended as "armor". It features the instantly recognizable Poison Spyder logo, marking your Jeep as one that is always ready and willing for some hardcore action! The JK Tire Carrier Delete Plate comes powder coated textured black. Easily installs using the stock tire carrier mounting bolts. Installing the JK Tire Carrier Delete Plate requires removal of the stock air vent flaps, so the Tire Carrier Delete Plate may sit flat against the tailgate for a clean appearance.
Great looking piece backed up with good customer service when I damaged a plug during installation.
Replaced the annoying stock tailgate vent that rattled.
Is there an option for hooking up the 3rd brake light or installing a brake light behind the plate?
Asked by Mack from Roanoke Va on
Mack, the Poison Spyder Customs Tramp Stamp doesn't have a 3rd brake light option. However the ACE Engineering one will have a 3rd brake light and it's located here: http://www.4wd.com/Jeep-Interior-Parts-Accessories/Tailgate-Plate-with-Factory-Third-Brake-Light-Provision.aspx?t_c=9&t_s=411&t_pt=8676&t_pn=AEEACEGTPLT3RDLT Hope this helps!

Sparky, the Poison Spyder Custom Tramp Stamp doesn't include a grommet for the brake light wiring. You should be able to pick one up that will fit the hole at any local auto parts store. Hope this helps!

does it come with hte bolts used to mount it and is it hard to remove the air vents?
Asked by scott from louisiana on
Hello Scott! This Poison Spyder part requires you to reuse your stock tire carrier bolts, or purchase new botls of the same size. No mounting bolts are included. Removing the air vents is very simple, and doesn't require much force at all.

Poison Spyder Customs has a heritage in hardcore off-road accessories that started when founder Larry McRae was little. McrRae's daddy use to load him up in the Ford Bronco to explore the off-road trails of the southwest. McRae became a professional rock crawler who raced for Nelson & Nelson Racing in the early 2000s. McRae purchased PSC from the Slay family and kept the vision of developing and fabricating high end quality off-road accessories right in the Pomona, California headquarters . McCrae and his wife are members of the Inland Empire 4 Wheel Drive club. McCrae himself is a Past President and Mrs. McCrae is a past Treasurer. Every product produced by PSC starts as a prototype tested on real trails by members of the club. Shop Poison Spyder Customs Now
