The Poison Spyder Antenna Mount provides a convenient, easily installed method for mounting a CB antenna on to the tailgate of Jeep JKs on which the stock spare tire carrier has been removed. This piece is made of CNC laser cut, precision brake-formed 1/8" steel and powder coated semi-gloss black. It is easily installed using the two upper-right corner OE spare tire carrier bolts. It may be used by itself or in conjunction with any of Poison Spyders JK Tramp Stamp products and/or JK License Plate Mount. 1/2" mounting hole accepts standard CB Antenna stud mounts. This is the recommended solution for mounting an antenna on Jeeps equipped with our RockBrawler or RockBrawler II Rear Bumpers with Tire Carriers.
The PSC CB mount is a good product, just as all of their products are that I have. The only mistake I made was that this does not fit my 2014 OEM tire carrier setup. You need to take off the part that holds the tire or have a PSC setup to have the bracket sit flush.
With the JK Jeep there isn't very many places to externally mount auxiliary antennas . This bracket works out well to mount an HF screwdriver antenna. Make sure you have good grounding though.
Quality part, Fits perfectly, Looks great.
